Do you Want to be recognized with your very own digital badgers for the contributions you make in the community? Microsoft Azure developer community engagement team will be on the lookout for individuals that volunteer, mentor or teach others and who are contributing to strong and sustainable communities.
How it works:
1. Nominate yourself or a community hero around you. Community members that have demonstrated verifiable impact in one of several categories will be chosen to receive a badge

2. Selected recipients receive a personalized QR code which can be scanned with your phone - follow the simple instructions to claim your digital badger

3. After you become an Azure Hero, be sure to share your digital badger by using the sharing link in your wallet to post to your favorite social media using the hashtag #azureheroes
Badge Types:
  1. Inclusive Leader: Inclusive Leader badgers are very rare and awarded to those who actively support inclusive, diverse events and communities
  2. Content Hero: Content Hero badgers highlight developers who document their experiences, share lessons learned, and create original content like sample code and learning resources to help others build on Azure.
  3. Community Hero: Community Hero badgers can be earned by active members of the community who help organize and share knowledge at conferences, meetups, and other relevant events.
  4. Mentor: Community Hero badgers can be earned by active members of the community who help organize and share knowledge at conferences, meetups, and other relevant events.
  5. Maker: Maker badgers are available to those recognised as being a source of innovation who make meaningful contributions to the community. Makers embody the maker spirit and demonstrate tech intensity by using digital tools to create projects for societal improvement that solve problems and inspire new creations and inventions.
  6. Kudos: Kudos Badger is given out to those who demonstrate great community spirit, teamwork, passion and more.
